Only for Wear OS devices - API 30+ SUPPORTED DEVICES LIST: • Google Pixel Watch • Fossil Gen 6 with Wear OS 3 • Samsung Galaxy Watch4 / Classic • Samsung Galaxy Watch5 / Pro DISTANCE MOVED; STEPS; FLOORS CLIMBED & CALORIES BURNED CUSTOM COMPLICATION Complications data not matching Samsung Health? • you need to disable activity tracking in S Health mobile app. See this article how to do it: medium.com/@mrgelberhut/disable-samsung-health-steps-counting-on-a-phone-9bac9e94a4d8 WHAT'S POSSIBLE WITH THIS APP? • set distance moved, steps, floors climbed, or calories burned custom complication in 3rd party Watch face • see activity results (needs some activity obviously) • set app to open on complication tap (default on app UI & applies to all complications - not individually) • choose layout of SHORT_TEXT complications (individually) • set distance units for distance moved complication • set steps or floors climbed goal for RANGED_VALUE custom complication type HOW TO USE? 1. open app UI & give activity recognition permission (enable) 2. long-press Watch face center - customize - add one of the possible complications (distance moved, calories burned, floors climbed, steps) 3. be sure your watch is on your wrist! 4. do some activity - walk, climb floors - after some time activity data become available >>> see result on your watch face or in app UI 5. a) optional - set distance units (m "meters", Km, Mile) b) optional - set app to open on complication tap (Google Fit, Samsung S Health, HS Complications - applies to all complications - not individually) c) optional - if you use complications in SHORT_TEXT spot, you can set their layout manually (TEXT ONLY, TEXT AND TITLE, TEXT AND ICON - set individually) SUPPORTED COMPLICATION TYPES • SHORT TEXT • LONG_TEXT • RANGED_VALUE (distance 0 >> 10000 m, calories 0 >> 500 cal, floors 0 >> 30 floors) NOTE! Please, re-launch app UI after watch restart to ensure custom complication pulls data correctly CUSTOM COMPLICATION UPDATE INTERVAL • complication updates data instantly when screen is ON or measurement is taken manually. • complication has a 10-minute refresh interval in case automatic measurement is taken while screen is off. Complication refreshes data as soon as screen turns ON. NOTE! : In rare cases it is possible that data shown lags by 1-2 minutes. This is happening, when refresh happens few seconds prior to measurement. Complication will then sync in 5 minutes. HOW THIS APP WORKS? • this app is using new HEALTH SERVICES API PassiveData monitor to pull activity data & push this data directly to the complication service. • complication app doesn't share any user data. It simply allows its users to see data in a watch face complication. "passive data updates are suited for apps that need to monitor Health Services data in the background.
